Our responsibilty to the environment

Safety and environmental protection are a central topic at every location of the STOCKMEIER Group. The responsible handling of hazardous substances in the STOCKMEIER Group is a matter of course.

Collecting trayss under storage and filling facilities, waste water treatment, emission-reducing measures, fire alarm and sprinkler systems are part of our active safety system. Our occupational safety specialists and company doctors work closely with the employees to ensure safe and good working conditions, to check the implementation of health and safety guidelines and to offer tailor-made solutions.

All employees receive regular training. The health and well-being of our employees is promoted through a variety of initiatives, including an external employee advisory service, which is available to our employees to answer questions in a wide range of situations.

Our own fleet of vehicles enables the safe and environmentally friendly transport of hazardous goods for our products with specially trained personnel. If necessary, we also use forwarding agents with experience in the chemical industry to ensure a comparable safety level.

Our competent field service advises you on site on the safe and environmentally friendly handling of our products. It goes without saying that we always provide you with the latest safety data sheets for all products supplied by us.

An environmental and occupational safety management system is in place within the Group, which is based on the rules of the international Responsible Care Initiative and the corresponding EN standards. STOCKMEIER Chemie is an official member of this initiative and is therefore subject to external controls. Some companies in the STOCKMEIER Group have also carried out an assessment according to ESAD II.
